But Emily lost 2-6 4-6, not playing very well...... 

 The more I think about it the more I believe we should have asked a doctor if she was dead before we decided to bury her, but she had rarely slept for as long as this before (42 mins),so just assumed the worst. Anyway back to the tennis...

This is becoming a very strange tournament. It is nominally a 64 entry main draw, however there are now only 37 entries. It also has 17 spaces allocated as Byes, which usually means qualifiers and LLs, so that would be 8 qualifiers and 9 LLs. There are also 10 blank spaces so maybe they will be the ones allocated to 8 Qualifiers and 2 LLs, leaving 17 Byes in the 1st round of the main draw.

It is actually a 48 main draw this year, so that accounts for a lot of the byes
