It isn't really though is it? What standard is doubles at this level?  I've always thought it was mostly women playing together who just happen to be in town the same day who take part because it gives them a few extra dollars to cover their costs. Maybe I'm wrong?

Harriet's singles form has fallen of a cliff the last few months.

 

 She seemed happy enough with the trophy on Instagram even though she didn't even have to play for it in the end.

I did think Harriet overachieved somewhat last year but her results this year have been very disappointing given she came close to being British no.1.

I hope this dubs win pushes Harriet on. She seems to play her best level at team events, outstanding in her matches at the BJK cup last November. Lets hope the upcoming BJK tie puts her back to winning ways
