Em+ did a good job to make it a real match in the second. They had a set point at *6-5 in the tiebreak but there was a weird miscommunication or one of them forgot where they were to go and they ended up basically standing one behind the other immediately after serving and Mitu just guided the ball into an empty half of the court.

Hopefully Harriet can do the double!

Harriet was 5-3 down in first set, now 6-5 up and there is a medical time-out

She just missed a break point by dumping a crosscourt backhand return off a weak second serve halfway up the net.

Last chance saloon.

*3-5

I know, I missed the result yesterday and thought it would be better late than never.

Well, that sort of sums up what I was saying about not getting too excited that Harriet was playing a 40k ::((

Disappointing seems too mild to say.

It isn't really though is it? What standard is doubles at this level?  I've always thought it was mostly women playing together who just happen to be in town the same day who take part because it gives them a few extra dollars to cover their costs. Maybe I'm wrong?

Harriet's singles form has fallen of a cliff the last few months.
