A bit surprised Katie withdrew from Miami for this instead, but I suppose she might get more points here than she would have in Florida.

She needs matches though as well as points. Frankly the same with most of our top 6 players. That's if they can stay fit of course.

Never seen Katie play as badly as I am seeing her play just now.

Good choice for Boulter to play a lower level. She really needs matches as does Heather. She would have been better dropping down too.

Or not such a good choice crycrycry

No positives to take away from that whatsoever....

her level looked like someone ranked about 600 finding their feet on the tour, amount of easy balls into the net or way long against an opponent with no real weapons.

Oh dear. What is happening to Boulter. Her form really seems to have gone completely off.
Getting back into the top 100 seems a long way off on the evidence of this match, so disappointing.

Her form is so very up and down. But with Katie I always wonder if that is related to her health still being up and down.

Just wish her the best.

I would have thought that Biljana Veselinovic was with Harriet this week, so if she's got a coach with her, it's probably Jeremy that's with her this week.

Rubbish. I dont think her form in general is that bad - remember she won a 60k easily recently and most losses have been to good players.

But it seems if shes playing in a lower tier tournament, she cant pull it together and ends up with losses like these

None of our singles players look to be in decent form ahead of the tie with France...no
