Fran has drawn the third seed however, not an easy one

Not so easy to check the entries these days but Fran has a SR of 155. Originally she was 6th on the alternates list but with a number of withdrawals she has made the main draw. The original cut off was 142.

The WTA have finally released the PDF version of the draw - and Fran does not have a WC, so is using her SC as Gameover has said.

Our Steven @gbtennis Tweet fills in on Fran a bit more too. I forget sometimes to check his tweets which are actually linked easily to this board at the top of the page here. Click on link back top left to open GB Tennis page and all his tweets start to pop up (without need to open Twitter)
