Interesting that the final has our top ranked players and others close to the top.

So no much more idiosyncratic choices, based on say less direct tennis accomplishments.

 Indeed - i think Dan not qualifying was the main surprise for me, although not sure who Id have expected to be out. Luck of the draw and , as I think Foobarbaz said, he was in a killer group.

Looks like this will be a right old battle to the end - 20 votes in so far.

10 pm close - would be great if we get to the 40 votes we are getting in the PoM votes - interest seems to have increased from round one and I hope we can give our faves a proper good old voting support here!

So with 22 votes in, Andy is a short head ahead of Emma; Katie in current bronze medal position.

Im hoping we are only around half the votes in so plenty can change. Even worst case there will be maybe 10-12 votes to come here, I hope.

I voted for Andy, this may?  be the last year he makes his mark at the top of the playing ranks, however iam sure he will continue to contribute a load through his tennis academy.
