 First tour match abroad, but she's played 5 ITF's in this country plus Wimbledon qualifying. And she has a WTA ranking.

Of the 6 ladies entered to play in Slovenia, how many do we think with actually turn up? Personally I'll be surprised if it's more than 2...

 She has not played for a while on the Junior tour as she is injured. She cannot even practise. She puts her name down for tournaments then pulls out

near the time. hope that she will be back soon.

 Its not about not showing surely - the DA lot will be hedging their bets based on if they get into Miami qualies and if so whether they progress. If they dont enter theyre not going to be playing anywhere!

Sorry.  I see that Harriet has already made qualifying in Miami and Jodie is second alt so almost certain to get in.  I guess the others will hang around in the States hoping they might get in too.  I suppose the point I was making was that a lot of our girls seem to withdraw at the last minute even when they're not playing elsewhere.  It always feels disappointing when you're looking forward to watching them and then they disappear off the list!

Comparing Indian Wells to Miami withdrawals, I'd say that both Katies will make it into qualifying and Heather will again be on the cusp although Miami does seem to be a bit more wild with their wild cards. There were 17 withdrawals/WC's ranked above the Brit girls and we have 13,15 and 17 on alt list.
