Ah such a pity.

Loses that long match, not quite got a WTA ranking. But she's back !!

( though I don't like that she seemed to be limping at the Hopefully minor and/or just understandable cramp ).

Fran had really bad cramp for virtually the whole of the last set. She didn't sit down between breaks and pretty much played of one leg at time.
She was the better player when fully mobile.

Yes she did seem to have a very laboured walk in the last few games and she was having trouble with her hand.

It's been a positive comeback. Lots of clay court tournaments coming up which she likes. I don't think it will be too long before she is at least top 500 again.
