Boys & Girls: J30 Dublin, Ireland - hard, indoor (Week 7)

A group of girls have decided to skip the Liverpool second leg and go to Dublin instead (not quite sure why....)

And there are quite a few other GB players here, as is to be expected

BOYS

(q) Robin McAlpine, (LL) Matt Upton and (q) Henry Best all won in R1

but (q) harry Abel lost

GIRLS

Wins for Tegan Bush, Elizabeth Evans and Annabel Hristova

But Macy Denney-Richards (top seed), Isabella Gibson and Ophelia K Davies all lost

GIRLS

R2 wins for Tegan Bush, Elizabeth Evans and Annabel Hristova

BOYS

(q) Robin McAlpine, (LL) Matt Upton and (q) Henry Best all lost in R2

GIRLS

Elizabeth Evans (age 15) and Annabel Hristova (age 14) both won their singles QF today

This equals their best performance, for each of them, and will be good new points

Tegan Bush lost hers

Elizabeth Evans made the final.
Just needs that self belief and a little more power and experience now to push on.

Annabel Hristova used to have a really defensive style of play, she'd elevated moon balls to a whole new level (literally). I hope she's moved on a little.....

Glad for Elizabeth, even if it was by retirement, and good luck to her in the final

In the doubles, Macy & Isabella won their semi, 12-10 in the MTB.
Whilst Tegan+ lost theirs 12-14

Felix and Harry also lost their in a MTB
