 Four of the qualifiers drew seeds, including the 2,4,6 and 7. So could have been better

Pacquet is and up and down player. Im sure EWS beat her a few years back. Might be mistaken but she does have some patchy results so wouldnt entirely rule out Eliz here.

Tight so far. Eliz has twice come back from a break down and had a BP/SP at 5-4*

Playing well but lacking a bit of 'killer instinct' in some of these rallies. I know it's not always her natural gamestyle but a few of these points she had opportunity to pull the trigger after working the point well but just keeps trading.

Dodgy double from Paquet for another set point. Big serve saved. Another one. Wild pass long. Tiebreak.
