Well done Heather. Still shows it is there if she could just be more consistant.

A winnable 2nd round match too. If she could string a couple of wins together, we know what confidence does to Heather

Yeah, and great couple of 'coming to the net' points, right at the end of the third set, before the tiebreak, when you're a bit tired, and Put is feeling the comeback

Really made a statement

This is the year she breaks the top 10, we all knew it was coming.

Great fighting win from Heather.
Na-Lae Han WR176 has knocked out Elena Ruse WR144 in three sets, so Heater has every chance of progressing further - and she needs the points !

Watching the tiebreak back she really did do well on that match point. Great serve and would have been so easy to rush or panic the short high bouncing reply. We've seen plenty of those swatted 6 feet long or into the net.

Yeah she's not really at the races. Bianca is able to hit through this court better and is keeping things fairly contained. Harriet's serve just sits up right in the hitting zone leaving her even more vulnerable than usual. Did well from 1-5* to *4-5 but missed all her first served and just had to watch returns fly past her.

Was a tough ask and not to be.

3-6 4-6

I hope Harriet has already found or will find a coach soon. Danger of slipping back with lots of points to defend.

Think Katie and Jodie could be higher ranked by the end of the year
