Not too many top 500 contenders in action again. When is Kyle scheduled to play again?

Good to see Eva Shaw back on an entry list after a year out. Surely, if fit, a WC of some description will be going her way?

Thanks for pointing that out, Lambda

That really made my day

After all, she was our National Champion ..... so good to see her name back out there

Lissey and Liv have withdrawn from the doubles in Linz

Lissey has repartnered with Van der Hoek whose partner also withdrew.

Van der Hoek has repaired again with someone else so that confirms it was Alicia who was injured last week. Freya/Ali now 1st alternates with three on site spots available. They have entered the French 60K as a back up although Freya has withdrawn from singles there, presumably in case they get into Linz.

Freya clearly very much now focusing on doubles and weighing in with Ali  Yes she will no doubt if possible play in highish ITF singles when playing doubles in these tournaments with Ali. But as soon as a possibility of a WTA doubles spot she's withdrawn from that ITF W60 singles. There are no doubt mixed views about this.

Shrewd decision in my view. Freya could make Top 50 in dubs but has no chance of Top 200 in singles.

Shame, Freya was making encouraging singles rankings progress after a successful Shrewsbury event several years ago but has never kicked on from that.
