Giles and Charlie have both lost their opening sets. George in a tight match.

Another top 500 contender will have to wait to break through

I had a pound on Corentin, I didn't think Giles had much hope in that one and the odds were way too in favour of the GB player.

Had hoped that Charles Broom would get through though - still possible - but he lost a tight first setter

George has also lost a first-set TB although that was more on the cards - young Damm is on the up, used to be JWR 3, and is finding his adult game quite nicely. Still plenty of chance for George though to fight back....

I believe Mark Whitehouse is heading to the states for some challengers as hes easily into qualifying there.

He is still on the entry list for Sunderland.

George had an MTO in the middle of the second set - seemed to be right elbow?

But a very resepectable match

Charles did manage to get that second set, in another TB, and is now *4-3 in the third

Aidan won his first set 6-4
