This match is nearly 3 hours. Its going well over 3 hours whatever happens and quite possibly 4 plus again.

RBA breaks back after a gruelling rally. Always Murrays problem when he breaks is he often loses the next game even in normal circumstances.

And Djokovic is struggling to get over the finish line due to injury.

Andy wins the first point but he is really starting to tire here. RBA just quietly gets on with his business and levels with a wee dink down the line from a Murray drop shot.

Andys run here reminds me of Jimmy Connors at the US Open in 92, I think it was. I followed that in awe and this is the same

Murray trying to shorten the points to varying success with hitting harder and drop shots here and there. Good touch from RBA on one drop shot and he wrong foots Andy on game point to take another service game to Deuce. RBA lobs Andy who doesnt chase for break point. A 2nd serve lands just in and RBA nets. A ripper forehand after a return brings game point again and then a whacked of a backhand and he holds on.

Another quick love game from RBA something that Andy has still not managed. There is a feeling of inevitability coming up here now.

Why does Andy only hit big when hes either behind or tired I often wonder. Some massive hitting on the forehand and pouncing at the net. Seals the game with a running forehand down the line and uses his racket as a walking stick. How much more torture does he have left?

Would be perfect time for a break now..

A glimmer of a chance as two RBA errors give him 15-30. He goes big with a forehand and misses could be a key point and RBA closes out.

Danger again 0-30, Murray lobbed and then beaten easily. Could be over soon..

Great effort Andy that third set was some vintage Andy.

If only he had more recovery time then he would have had a better chance.

1-6 7-6 3-6 4-6 RBA
