Anton lost in a third-set tie-break. Definitely one he should have won IMO.

As Sheffield is loaded, SE's should be available for the winner of George and Harry.
Also Giles Hussey will get one if he wins in France.

No argument from me.  Hoping Harry's SF place will be enough.  George will take a bit longer to get there but the signs are good.

Nothing against Ben and Mark but lovely to see Tom and George H get a real boost, a title, and points

 Both should get SE

Harry, Giles and co will have to rely on wildcards.

Harry is not entered for next week. He withdrew early doors.. I guess he could still get a WC if his plans have changed

Giles might sneak in as a MD DE if there are late withdrawals.

Very close first set, not much in it, but the French guy won, 6-4, and probably the right score overall

Didn't see the second set. But Clément was just that bit better, in terms of consistency, and - importantly - coming forward occasionally to make winning the point easy at the net.

George lost 4-6 2-6

But a very good week for him....

cry  I meant to say that Chidekh looked like being the danger man of the tournament after he beat Charles Broom in three sets in their last 16 match - & promptly forgot!
