 great test for him though. Free hit really, not expected to win but at the same time he knows he can be competitive

I don't really see it as a free hit type of match and I doubt Jack will either. I know he lost that last meeting but such has been his general progress that such a match is now one to be seriously competitive in and look to win. 

While of course no disaster if he plays decently and loses, he's here to mix it.

Agree. This could easily be a R1 match at the Open, so it's really important he goes for it and takes what he can from the match.

I do dream - beyond this tournament. The lad's got serious talent which is more and more coming together at top level..

Re this tournament itself, yes very winnable.
