I doubt the LTA would pay appearance fees for this event even if it was allowed. It wouldn't surprise me if there were appearance obligations as part of her PSP contract, but they probably would revolve around the WTA grass events.

I stick with what I said earlier. Her choice was likely decided by whether or not she made Lyon qualifying the following week. She didn't (yet), so chose Sunderland. That said she is only 9th alt for Lyon qualifying so still a good chance of making it in by sign in, especially the week after a grand slam.

I know we dont normally do doubles in these threads but I notice in Ottignes that Liam Broady is down to play with Dustin Brown.
