Not the easiest matches for R1 but could be worse.

I'm not sure if I missed this but mega congrats, Blue Belle

Amazon Prime saying this is scheduled for 9pm tomorrow GMT.  Though I suspect this is merely an estimate.

Will be an interesting match up.

9pm here is 10am Tue there. As Tuesday's session starts at 3pm local, it won't be 9pm tomorrow.

I'm hoping that Emma can hit the ground running, she certainly seems much better prepared for the start of the season this time. I think top 20 or 30 is very realistic for the end of the season with maybe a 250 title thrown in?

Having said all that, tricky first match

Evidently not totally OK today. Rain delay ...

Emma 4-4* 40-40

No breaks of serve so far. Emma missed out on 2 BPs just prior to the rain. Linda missed out on 3 BPs in the previous game.

Resumed with Linda holding after saving BPs 3 and 4 in game 9 and then breaking to 30 to take the first set. Emma has then not won a point in the first 2 games of the second set.
