Ok, so this probably counts as pretty low on most people's radar 

BUT - the Top Tier U12 event has been taking place this week in France. 

Along with the Open Auray Super 12, it's one I always follow. 

And the Facebook site has had some live coverage

Congrats to Liv Zingg (born 2011) who won the girls' doubles with her Swiss partner (in fact, an old site says Liv used to play for Switzerland - don't know if that's true) 

Didn't see any of that but I did see nearly all of her singles match where she lost in the QFs against a Latvian girl who went on to win the semis and the final easily 

Liv was pretty impressive, nice serve, some lovely tennis from the back of the court, especially on her forehand (the Latvian girl had a soppy serve, but was ultra consistent and excellent fitness and defence, couldn't miss if you paid her).

Looking forward to seeing more of Liv 

NB there were other GB players there, with special mention to Isabel McLain won two rounds in singles
