Another surprisingly easy victory. To be honest I'd started to lose hope of Katie ever returning to the Top 100 so it would be great if she's found her 2018 form again.

Jodie, Katie , Katie and Heather are remarkably close in the rankings. The proverbial gnats whisker between them.

Indeed. Live rankings show them as 130, 131, 133 and 137, with Lily at a new CH of 178. A rise of 28 places between them (so far !)

I predicted Heather would be 300 in the predictions competition- lets hope that proves disastrously wrong !

I had her at 75 in the predictions so I'm hoping she can stay fit. I think if she can then she has the potential to get higher ranked than all of the others (except Emma)

Great result. Jodie continuing her form from the second half of next year.

I think that's the problem, RJH, isn't it?

I'm AI sure Katie B is top-100 material. I've had money on her since she was age 17.
BUT her health is a major issue
(Unlike Emma's, where I honestly believe her health issues last year were just blips)
So my guess is that Katie B will have at least one year where she is untroubled by health, and will get to be WTA 50 or so - but I'm just not sure which year it will be.
Katie Swan falls slightly into the same category - but I don't quite know where to put her health problems
And she's younger.
But she's A1 sure to be well inside the top-100/top-50 if her body lets her
So my guess this year was that Katie Swan would manage it and Katie B not - bit random. But over the next 5 years, I've have them both in there, at some point, without any issues.

FIngers crossed that all this is irrelevant for Harriet, Jodie et al....
