Yes, very interesting.

The one that raised my eyebrows immediately was Fran with 'just' 58. Hopefully she can get a proper biggie in the next year or so.

I'm guessing, without looking further at all, that there is a good number of players for whom their biggest ranking win has been on grass and I suppose that grass is relatively less of that opportunity for Fran.

As things stand:

Fran Jones is the 2nd highest ranked player without a grand slam win - time to amend that in Oz

Jan Choinski the 5th highest ranked without a Masters 1000 appearance

Billy Harris and Jan the 8th and 9th highest ranked without a Masters 1000 win

Jake Fearnley the 2nd highest ranked without an ATP semi and 9th highest without an ATP final

Oliver Crawford the 5th highest ranked without a Challenger (or ATP) title

James Story the 5th highest without a challenger match win

Jack Draper the 5th highest without a slam final and the 8th highest ranked without a Slam title

Some of those stats are more interesting than others.

I am never sure how much we believe these, but they are the only surface speed ratings out there for the wider tour

Athens tops the rating, with Basle; Metz is in the top half dozen

Interesting that it suited Cam enough to make the final

Hey _ I wondered if Pierrot or anybody else had a list for men and women (separately) of their change in rankings over 2025 - who has risen the most down to who has fallen the most, in order?

I feel like I have seen one somewhere but if it is possible to easily post a list for both men and women here, that would be something amazing!!

I think just comparing who has risen the most might be a little misleading as some players in the top 200 obviously haven't moved as much as the ones lower down (eg George Loffhagen who was 579 in early December and now up to 207).

I have the rankings from 09/12/2024 for the men and women, but haven't kept the current rankings up to date in the spreadsheet for all players. I'll see what I can do tomorrow.
