great, thanks Lambda , that is very clear!
Looks like the Progress Tour, Cromer, event takes place next week also
presumably if any of those qualifying routes goes to someone who gets into qualies via a WC or into the play offs via ranking (or duplicates a position) it reverts to an additional discretionary wild card?
Playing for a place in the Wimbledon WC play-off and a summer M25/W25 WC QFs Men Giles Hussey [1/480, WC] v Yujiro Onuma [7/1827] Alexis Canter [4/1364] v Marcus Walters [9, WC] Alfie King [LL] v Oliver Bonding [WC] Michael Shaw [5/1441] v William Jansen [2/1068]

Just to point out. The women's rankings shown on the LTA website (as posted by Lambda) are a mix of WTA and ITF rankings. Only Emma and Abigail have WTA rankings - the other rankings are ITF.

I've been waiting to see Will Jansen around - I thought he must be going to put in an appearance
In fact, I was pretty sure I saw his dad at Surbiton (but possible, of course, that I'm an idiot and it was just someone who looked like him....)
Alfie King has done well as an LL to beat Stefan Cooper and Phoenix Weir. How old is Alfie?
Alfie is 15
thanks Tenniscat and welcome to the board as well!
Alfie has done well, then, those are good wins. Havent had time to check his QF result yet. Has he got a big serving game? The scorelines in those matches (7-5 6-4 ish) suggest someone who can hold serve well, though that is just a guess
Congratulations to 15 year old Ciara Moore and Giles Hussey who secure their places in the Wimbledon WC play-offs and get a main draw WC to a summer W25 and grass M25.
Giles Hussey [1, WC] def. William Jansen [2]. 6-4 6-0
Ciara Moore (15yo) def. Sophia Johnson [7]. 7-5 6-2
