 How are players with the same numbers of ranking points separated? Alphabetical order?

As they have earned the same points from the same tournaments playing as a team they will be tied for ranking. There are rules for separating players when this does not apply. It goes points from WTA and slam tournaments, then least number of tournamentsm then highest individual counters. And if all that still gives a tie it is alphabetical based on surnames !

Live ranking sites won't necessarily apply thise rules - Coric shows Liv above Lissey when they should be equal.

Coric is correct. Liv will be ranked above Lissey as Lissey has played 1 more tournament than Liv, that being Surbiton with Sam.
