Slam titles definitely come before tour finals triumphs for me.

Clearly Joe has achieved that as well this year. I very much admire his doubles prowess but ultimately he didn't get my vote partly because we are talking doubles rather than singles and also he had already won Slams and been WR 1.

I generally vote for who has made the biggest impression on me during the month / year.
