So close to choose between Jack, Joe and Neal but in the end voted for Neal as his achievements have taken him to world doubles #1 and tbh I never expected he would get there.

with 22 votes here and 24 in the other one (and we reached 46 in round one) it is hard not too think we are at halfway votes wise, certainly not timewise. A lot to shake down here and in the other group. It might slow down in terms of quantity but every new vote becomes ever more important!!

The first round groups all had around 40 votes by the halfway point so unlikely we will reach that by 8 am tomorrow ! Nonetheless a long way to go here and hopefully we will get more votes over the course of tomorrow.

No voting change overnight as we approach half way, 30 votes placed. A lot slower than the other group and much slower than the first round - lets hope there is some activity today !

looking at the history, the past two years have seen a drop in votes after round one for the semis, before picking up for the final. Maybe three rounds is too many and next year we need to find a format to take it from an initial round to sift and then a final. Perhaps this year in round one, 2 of 7 could have gone through to find an 8 player final.

Anyway, one for another day - we are what we are this time and it will be an exciting and rewarding last couple of days to find Player of the Season!!
