2022 British Player of the Season Vote - Semi Final Group 1

Here we are with the semis for our Player of the Season vote!

6 players in each group - 3 men and 3 women in each. 

Top 2 from each group progress to the final, plus any ties.

48 hours to vote - this poll will close Saturday at 8 am!! Going for some late overnight action this time!!

Oh no - help!! Youve put all my favourites in the same group here. I want Jack, Joe, Neal and Katie all in the final but somehow dont think thats going to work. This will definitely need some thinking about.

 Take the view that you can decide now and it makes the final a whole lot easier !

The groups structure was pre set as a draw , sadly the cookie crumbled this way ! The other group is no easier and will have certain others grumbling though !

Ive decided to vote for Neal and its probably inconsistent with my opening round thinking but Im evolving. He won a slam title, but most importantly got to number one. Its impossible really to split him and Joe so if they both make the final, I may change my thinking !

I've gone for Neal again. No surprise there I guess, but to reach Nš1 with a relatively new partner was something nobody even dreamed of at the beginning of the season.

 it is a very tricky one - I counted 8 I would happily vote for as Player (s) of the Season from the 2 groups and it obviously isnt going to fit. 

Indeed, I have changed my thinking a little from round one, already, and may well find I do so in the Final - it partly depends how I think on the day and what the match ups are. 

It aint gonna be easy!! But eventually, we all have to make a call.

I guess it is tempting to see how other people vote and maybe respond on that basis. Problem is we cant all do that otherwise we wont get any votes! But I suspect this may well be a set of votes that brews a little longer than round one!!

As per round one - my bios are purely ranking, win loss record and tournie wins/ highlight. If you feel Im missing part of that narrative for any player, please post it - I wont update the narrative but others can read it.

Joe and Neal have produced some outstanding performances this year, but my vote has to go to Jack for establishing himself in the top 50.
