I'm far too good at this football prediction. Hopeless at tennis!

Amazing for Morocco - brilliant. Just hope we can join the party later!

Ronaldo - such a narcissist- terrible the way he walked off without congratulating the Moroccans or consoling his younger team mates. Good riddance to the guy.

Good stuff Christine

Class act Ronaldo not - straight down the tunnel, no acknowledgement of fans, congratulation of the opposition or consoling young teammates. Acted like a spoilt brat in the last few months. Pity.

Anyway, it's not about a once great player, it's Morocco's day !

I went for France just coz they always win....

But I  so hope Morocco win, they were a breath of fresh air

England played really well, definitely the better team in the second half.

But France s defence was dodgy and we still didn't manage any goals from open play....

Hats off to Gareth Southgate , a fine leader and a good man. Hes not perfect and gets tactics wrong sometimes but hes led our team well and with the write manner and dignity. Big applause to him.

England manager Gareth Southgate, speaking to ITV Sport: "The performance did [deserve more] but of course goals are decisive. I've just said to the players they couldn't have given any more, they played really well against a top team. It is fine margins. The way they have progressed as a team through the tournament has been marvellous."

On the referee's performance: "It is pointless me talking about that. I'd rather talk about our players and say congratulations to France. We have given them a game and I don't think we could have done any more."

On Harry Kane's missed penalty: "We win and lose as a team, we let a couple of goals in and missed a few chances.

"He's been incredible for us and reliable in those situations, we wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for him."

Anyone wishing Southgate to go should be careful what they wish for

Certainly the hand break would be released. Might go downhill at a rate of knots but hey it would be entertaining

Ha, Argentina were my pre tournament pick but by the time the poll went up here Brazil had lured me in.
