Served for the second set at 5-3, but eventually lost the tiebreak 4-7. Possibly guilty of trying to force the pace against an opponent who looks very solid in defence. Good livestream available.

Emily did so well to get close to the no 1 seed here as there is such a gap in rankings. Shows how much she has improved recently.

Freya is next against the no 2 seed.

Freya lost the MTB 8-10

She played OK but, to be fair, it was completely on the racket of the other player. Now, maybe there was a big difference in level, and so that's all Freya could do (didn't see the rest). But the aggressive one normally deserves to win, IMO, and she did here

The DF on MP was also poor..... :(
