1. Lloyd Glasspool - for reaching the World Tour Doubles Finals, being part of the top 6 teams in the world, from outside AO entry levels at season start 2. Talia Neilson-Gatenby - for being our highest ranked junior in the senior world rankings, at circa mid 500's including winning her first ITF title 3. Eliz Maloney-for spectacular ranking improvements in the past 12 months. From 1137 to 391 in singles and from 1066 to 388 in doubles. 4 Andy Murray for ....being Andy Murray. Still ranked in the top 50 after major hip surgery and continuing to be a brilliant ambassador for British tennis 5 Jamie Murray for reaching 500 match wins on tour 6 Anna Brogan who improved her ranking from 916 (I think) to 350 - a massive 566 places, and seemingly with little support from the LTA. Well certainly no wild cards!
7 Cash and Pattern for outstanding season in doubles together winning a record 9 titles in one season and still in with a chance to make it 10.
Hi Rich - cash and Patten are happily already qualified so dont need a wild card - see the first post ! Thanks For nominating them but I hope you understand when I take them out.
the first post explains the process and lists those already qualified - so take a look at that and then please put forward any other name that isnt already in that list ! Thanks !
Oops silly me.
no worries!! Please do think of someone else (or someones else) and put them on the list! I have sent you a private message as well. Cheers

The good news is Cash and Patten are genuine contenders in a wide open Player of the Season field - votes for that coming up in a few days or so!! That should be fun, we just need these 2 more to round out the field and make sure no one worthy is missing from it!

Maybe some of those listed on DF's Friday Feeling list deserve a nomination for a wildcard - those in bold arent on our Player of the Season list at this stage and as there isnt a PoM this month, perhaps this might be their only route through?? If you think so , add them to the nominations list above!
Fri 02/12
In singles Qf this week we have:
Jan in Portugal, Mark in Spain and Tiffany in Dominican Republic
and in doubles Sf we have:
Julian & Henry in Portugal (hurrah!), Mark with Eero in Spain, Alexis & Ryan and Emilie with Oane in Tunisia, Abigail with
Arabella in Austria and Tiffany with Melshe in Dominican Republic.
Mark and Tiffany are able to do the double. Hopefully they are inspired by Millie who managed to win in both singles and doubles last week
Elsewhere - in the Eddie Herr U18 tournament in the US Ella and Isabelle are through to the Sf.
Still just the 6 nominations which I think goes to show that the qualification process is pretty good for giving a route in to to the PoS final for the vast majority of possible contenders.
I certainly haven't been able to come up with any more.
Edit: though 12 seconds later 2 more are added to the list

Given there are lots of spaces available to fill, I have decided to open up nominations to no limit - if anyone who has already nominated (or hasnt)wants to add as many names as they wish to this list, feel free - only limit in fact will be a max of 20 total
So here are two more from me

7. Ben Bartram - for winning the US Open Juniors Singles and Doubles Wheelchair events, the first time Junior slams have been competed for. And reaching the NEC Masters Doubles Semifinals
8. Liam Broady - for a great run at Wimbledon this year and providing many hours of great watching. May he refind his form of earlier this year once more!

Do we reckon this is the final list? I will let it run til 8 as planned, look out for a voting poll coming out later on - please still add any potential Player of the Season Wild cards to the list above if you think of any!
