Hi - Millies Mum here - if you go on the NCAA tennis twitter page - above the picture on the latest post - click on stats - Ion court - along he bottom it lists scores - In progress - schedule and results - hope that helps.
That's a really bad loss for Toby against the #75.
The women are all done for today with 4 out of 5 through. Angelica was the only loss but it was really unfortunate to play Scotty in R1. Vic Allen had an excellent win against the #18 Komar (Oklahoma State) - and the home crowd - winning the 3rd set tie-break 7-5 from 3-5* down.
Over to the men now Ollie is through, Finn and Jake on court now and Jack to follow later.
Hi Millies Mum here - just wanted to say - if a 6-0 6-2 score isnt playing particularly well we'll take that!
For perspective - I spoke to Millie earlier - it's very windy there (I know it is for all the players)
She's seeded at 2 - there are expectations and pressure and a target on your back
Its tough out there - physically and mentally - I couldnt do it.
Appreciate the link by the way - at least I could watch some of it!

Absolutely we'll take it. She did what she had to do and that's all we - and more importantly she - can ask of her. Save that physical and mental energy from when she needs it later in the week. As hard as it is, I hope she can block that external pressure and expectations out and just focus on herself being the best she can so she leaves no regrets on the court and what will be will be. Wishing her well.
Im wondering, based on player quality, how does this event stack up versus, say, an M/W 15 or 25? I am thinking it is like a bridge between the two, standards wise, maybe more aligned to a 15? I guess ranking dont mean much, given these players dont play full tour schedules?
The men follow the women in having 4 out of 5 through including an awesome win for Finn over the #18.

Hi - thanks for that - yes lets hope! As we know its all on the day ... tennis is a very lonely sport I think - its just you and your racquet out there ...
Thanks Lambda / big day of tennis ahead in Oklahoma.
I wonder how DannyThomas found the tennis the past few days?
Hi Jon,
I enjoyed the team event very much . As you know I follow the womens events and not so much the men. Noticeable there was quite a lot of bad feeling amongst other teams for Texas A&M calling in Branstine just for this event when she hadnt been involved the entire year. Within the rules though.
Good to see the British players get off to a good start in the individuals. Angelica was not feeling too well before her match and fell short which was a pity after her strong run in last years event and her good recent form. Hopefully one of the other 4 can go all the way ! Millie R of course is one of the favourites and a great opportunity for her in the upcoming days.
Stillwater is not exactly a fun place to be but the tournaments have been well organized and mostly to schedule.
