RR1/2:  (7) Zoe Hives (AUS) (*) WR 772 (CH = 140 in October 2019) vs (15) Katie Swan WR 145 (CH = 118 in  October)

(*)  never heard of her!

Zoe Hives qualified at Wimbledon this year, losing to Sakkari in the first round of the main draw. She entered using her SR of 140. She hasn't played on tour since August and her ranking of 772 is a bit misleading. Could be a real test for Katie.

Cam is 6-3 and 3-2 ahead with a break second set.

Not sure when they announce the second man and woman to play after Cam and Katies matches, or the mixed? The schedule on TNNS doesnt show more than two matches

On what purports to be tomorrows schedule- are the matches split over two days each?

Played the two exhibitions in the Middle East as well. As well as being good for the bank balance must have been decent prep for the season.

It's such a British thing, isn't it?

All the blokes on the GB bench, shouting: 'C'mon Swanny !!!'

I rather like it.....

And it's not a youngster thing - Tim is the worst biggrin

But his advice is decent - getting Katie to focus on herself, on her own hitting...

And she's got the first set 6-4

But when Katie plays a super point and Tim shouts: 'not bad, good, stay in the rally, it doesn't need to be perfect'....
I'm not sure where that's coming from or if that's really on point

Faultless from Henman, Katie would have lost by now if he was not in the hotseat.

Lovely match for Katie

Zoe started off strongly in the second, played some good aggressive tennis and Katie could have had a big wobble.

But she didn't - good team tennis
