A weak British entry with just Lily and Eden direct entries plus the 4 wildcards.

Qualifying draw is out and quite a few gaps, but good to see quite a few juniors having a go.

Eliz maybe a direct entry in main draw.

3 gaps in qualifying puzzles me again. No less than 39 alternates (30 of them British) would appear not to have signed in. It is possible that there are qwc's amongst them but otherwise I really do wonder what is the point of entering? It's not as if they even have to turn up at the venue to sign in.
