Must be a problem with Court 6

But Jodie beats Marni, 6-4 6-3, which is a decent showing by Marni

And Emily App also put down another very good match, losing 5-7 3-6, but well in the match, in all the points, some very positive forward play and not far off doing some damage

It's not that, paulisi - all court 6 matches were listed as upcoming streamed events (and still are for the later matches)

I think it's a problem with the court streaming service for court 6 - hopefully they've fixed it for the next matches

That first set was a close run thing. Miyazaki playing really well from the off. Swan, with a little extra power in her shots, starting to win more of the rallies.

No break points in Heather v Talia, but Talia takes the first set on the tie-break.

Katie's shoulder was done. Couldn't serve, couldn't hit a forehand. Real shame. I guess to be fair to Anne it's tricky to pick a player for BJK Cup you can't be sure will last the week. Hope she can recover with some good treatment.

Good win, and good performance from Miyazaki. She made it tough for Swan, and unfortunately Swan picked up an injury on the forehand wing, playing the whole of the deciding set hampered by it.
