Sonay should get in direct and quite a few money of our 450-600 girls promoted into qualifying

Is Heather injured as well? A bit worrying with the BJK Cup coming up.

If she's still doing the evening in conversation next Wednesday, alongside Iain Bates, you could pay £20 and ask her.

I doubt if whether or not the UK #4 woman plays will have a significant effect on the result.

Depends whether it goes to the doubles or not, as Heather and Harriet must be favourites to play as a pair.

Sonay is in main draw with no SE. Lily is one out.

Lily will get a wildcard (if she needs one)as should Marni and Eden(assuming they win today).
Qualifying entries should be in 700/800 now. I'd expect Emily Appleton to get a QWC

Jack D is now 2nd alt for Paris after Nakashima got in. There is still an SE place in the draw, not sure if this is likely to get taken so Jack may be 1 or 2 places off the main draw. Maybe we will see another withdrawal and the SE spot go before the draws are made?

Rinderknech, Giron and Humbert are apparently still up for the SE spot. If Humbert beats Rune tonight in Basle, he plays Rinderknech next and so one of them will get the SE spot for sure (Or Giron if he wins his QF in Vienna versus Dimitrov)

Jack D is now Alt 1 for Paris as Molcan gets in.

I think there are two up for the SE spot still - Giron plays Dimitrov today, and Rinderknech plays Rune. In essence, Jack needs both of these two to lose today or for another withdrawal

According to Darts, Rinderknech has a WC, so all down to Dimitrov to win !

yeah, saw that as well: but if he wins, I think he gets the SE and the wildcard goes back in the pot? I think SE trumps wildcard? Might be way off on that!

Giron falls. Rinderknech is left , if an SE trumps a WC, and he plays tonight

Why would a player apply for a SE if they are in the MD with a WC anyway?

I dont think they apply as such - the event would allocate the SE to them (not sure they are limited in terms of how many a player can get), which frees up the WC for the tournie to give to someone else I think thats correct - Rinderknech doesnt care how we gets in; similarly if an alt moved up but already had a wildcard, theyd drop the wildcard and give it to someone else.

but someone may tell me I am completely mistaken!

So it looks like I was wrong , no surprise to me or anyone who knows me! Haha. The SE has indeed been deleted and Jack now moves into the main draw (assuming Darts are correct)!
