Emily won the first set very easily but having a bit more trouble in the second. Was broken, but just saved a couple of game points to break back.

6-0 *2-2

Just a little wobble and Emily takes the second set 6-2

The next match is tough though as Alice Rame Q1 won her match 1 & 1

A bit of a serving disaster today. Under 40% first serves in, 7 doubles, only won 2 points behind her second serve.

Loses 0-6 0-6 in 48 minutes. Doubles will go better hopefully!

Yes, pretty disastrous morning, only 14 points in total. Sofia has had a two-month break from tennis, so I hope she can hit the ground running and they get a decent draw in the doubles.

They have a potentially tricky opener against the young French duo of Babel/Tan.

Lily and Beth have what looks to be a pretty straightforward draw through their opening couple of rounds as second seeds.

Lily opens her singles against a qualifier, Anna against a wildcard. Beth is seeded and hopefully can get a couple of wins.

Very easy win over a top 100 junior. Nicely done.

Not sure I've been happier about Em reaching a 25k quarter final for about 8 years biggrin

Was going swimmingly (broadly) to a set and a break up, then found themselves a break down and had to save 5 set points, but got it done in 2.

6-3 7-5
