Last week's champions Freya & Ali were beaten by the top seeds by 3-6 7-6(10) [10-5]

Twice had a MP during that second set TB.

 Indeed, it did turn out to be a great draw for Alice 

Only saw a few balls but Alice is in good form at the moment, Ranah only coming back from injury and very few matches at this level under her belt anyway.

Alice won, 6-0 6-2

 Yes, the trainer came out briefly at the change of ends at 5-6 (?), but no treatment then. Katy seems to be moving fine though and it is very competitive.

Leading *4-2 in the second, having lost her previous service game at *3-1
