Freya and Eliz will be in the MD as the next 2 in with 3 vacancies
Lauryn withdrew yesterday.

Jasmine and Talia have 1 bonus MD WC available. They've both had 4 MD WC so far, winning a match with 2 of them.
Armarni has 2 MD WCs available. She has had 2 so far, winning a match with 1 of them.
Ranah doesn't have any available as she hasn't won a match with any of the 3 MD WCs she has had.

Has Angelica Blake been at Uni for the last three years? She has reemerged this year and is producing results above her ranking. She has taken Naiktha to a tie break, beaten Emma Wilson and has just taken the 1st set off Maia Lumsden.

Ranah  is entered and didnt play qualifying so assumed she had a MD WC. Does she get her extra once she turned 17?

As they are still juniors they are also limited by the number of womens tournaments they can play. If jasmine plays this will be 16th in 2022 and her last until end of December? Ranah has 16 from end of May.

Ranah is no longer subject to age restrictions on WCs from when she turned 17, so it's just the usual adult limits that apply.

Only tournaments where they get WTA ranking points count towards the limits on the number of tournaments juniors can play, so they have plenty of tournaments they can play yet

I'm pretty useless at all this but, Lambda, it says in the ITF rules:

3. Age Eligibility Rules
The WTAs Age Eligibility Rule (AER) applies to all WTA ranking point Tournaments which offer
$15,000 or greater in prize money. In the case of inconsistency between the WTAs AER and these
Regulations, the former shall apply. Players aged 17 and under are subject to the WTAs AER and are
restricted in the number and category of Wild Cards they may receive and the number and category
of Tournaments they can play. Please refer to Appendix C for details

So that says '17 and under' are bound by the age rules, so turning 17 wouldn't make any difference, no?

I may be misunderstanding, they do seem to make things very complex, but the rules state a 17 year old can only play 16 womens events.

https://www.wtatennis.com/player-development

2019 Age Eligibility Rule (AER) Highlights:

  • A 14-year-old may play up to 8 professional events (WTA & ITF Women's Circuit), no more than 3 of which can have prize money at $60K or greater; plus Fed Cup.
  • A 15-year-old may play up to 10 professional events (WTA & ITF Women's Circuit), WTA Championships (if she qualifies), plus Fed Cup.
  • A 16-year-old may play up to 12 professional events (WTA & ITF Women's Circuit), WTA Championships (if she qualifies), plus Fed Cup.
  • A 17-year-old may play up to 16 professional events (WTA & ITF Women's Circuit), WTA Championships (if she qualifies), plus Fed Cup. In the WTA Year of her 17th birthday a player may be named to the Top 10 and/or Premier Player Lists

Yes, that's sort of how I read the WTA rules too ....

"v. 17 Years of Age

Between the date of a players 17th birthday and the day before her 18th birthday, her AER Tournament Allotment and AER Wild Card Allotment are as follows.

(a) AER Tournament Allotment A player may participate in a maximum of sixteen (16) Professional Tennis Tournaments.

(b) AER Wild Card Allotment Once a player reaches 17 years of age, she may accept the WTA and Womens ITF World Tennis Tour calendar year Wild Card maximums. (See Section III.C.3 for information on WTA Wild Card maximums.) The number of Wild Cards she may accept pursuant to the Wild Card Rule is calculated over the course of the Tour Year in which she turned 17 (i.e., any Wild Cards used under the AER by the player in that Tour Year prior to turning 17 will count toward the total number of Wild Cards permitted under the Rules)"

I also note that it is the player's responsibility to make sure they do not exceed the wildcard limit

11 of the 16 matches completed, and just 3 GB wins so far.

Maia was the top seed but she eventually lost out to Angelica in three. Angelica has no WTA ranking and only a 1022 ITF ranking while Maia has a WTA 538 ranking. That suggests that Angelica's ranking is likely to climb significantly over the coming months. There was a three year gap in Angelica's results, so I assume she was at Uni somewhere.
