Oh come on, that's a great match for Emma. One of the last chances she had to draw the legend, and Serena hardly at her peak powers.

 A) you just need to make Serena move (becuase she can't do that so much anymore and

B) it would have been so much worse if it was at the USO and Serena's true last match.

It may not be a classic but it sure will be interesting. And yes great to get to have played Serena.

Hopefully they can both find a decent standard.

I haven't seen Serena playing recently, and have mixed feelings about this. It's a great opportunity for Emma to play the GOAT before she retires, but also I can't help thinking that Serena has the experience to beat her, especially as this is almost her last swan song.

Good luck to them both.

Emma should try to emulate Jo when she played Serena in 2018.

It is a wonderful opportunity to play a Great and would be lovely to share a court with her or even have a win against her on here record, no matter how near the end Serena may be.  That said, we all know that a loss would look poor from Emma.

A win.....so what, Serena is at the end.

A loss.....the criticism bandwagon will certainly be gathering speed.

A wonderful opportunity but more to loose than win I feel.

All the attention will be on Serena rather than Emma though for once, a chance for the latter to play her best tennis again without pressure.

What an interesting match. Whatever the result least she gets to play Serena before she retires.
I think Emma will be up for this and win the match.
