In recent years (before covid) there's usually around 15 ranking places between the original and final cut offs so it's going to be touch and go if she makes it. If Katie misses out at WR234 it will be the highest cut off since 2015 when it was WR229. The next highest since then was WR235 in 2018.
Well done to both girls.
No idea what has changed for Jodie but keep it going.
Katie, it's great to see a week like this.
Now please no injuries and layoffs.
She could go much higher.
Noticed the girl that beat Katie in the Aus Junior Open final has a career high of 350ish. Not a great indicator of anything in particular but I thought interesting nonetheless.
Congrats to both, nice to see them continue good form from the grass.
SF:- Jodie Anna Burrage (GBR) / Eden Silva (GBR) CR630 (421+209) LOST TO Jada Myii Hart (USA) / Dalayna Hewitt (USA) CR1140 (594+546) 3-6 3-6
Edit:- Following up on earlier discussions, Coric is showing 15 points for this tournament, which is QF points, i.e. one round less than the match they lost.

The latest WTA rankings have actually awarded both Jodie and Eden 29 SF points. Very kind for two walkovers and a loss.
Just as a postscript, as Katie is not on a LTA funding programme she is eligible for, in addition to the prize money, £4,000 from the LTA Bonus Scheme.
