Well done Katie.

Qf later?

At least she is not in the doubles. Jodie has a doubles Sf later as well, perhaps

Jodie and Eden's doubles is the semi-final, and may not be played today if they don't get the other QF's completed.

Jodie back on court against Chang already.
Katie is scheduled NB 17:00 which is 10pm here, but there is a doubles match first.

I don't think it's been noted that all matches are indoors at a different venue today.

The doubles before Katie's match has just finished (even though the scoreboard is stuck at 6-1 4-3) so Katie could be on anytime soon, depending on rest time. Her opponent hasn't had a match today so far, so this could be tough.

QF: SWAN, Katie (GBR) (8) 234 def NG, Taylor (USA) Q 501 6-2 6-1
QF: BURRAGE, Jodie Anna (GBR) (2) 158 def CHANG, Hannah (USA) 258 6-3 6-1

SF: SWAN, Katie (GBR) (8) 234 (CH=163 2018) v ZACARIAS, Marcela (MEX) 241 (CH=181 2015)
They have met twice before with Katie winning on both occasions.

SF: BURRAGE, Jodie Anna (GBR) (2) 158 (CH=141 2022) v STEARNS, Peyton (USA) Q 423 (CH=347 2021)

That is quite a result from Katie considering the long match she played only a few hours before, together with the fact that Taylor Ng had just defeated the top seed.

Wow. Did not expect Katie to even play that second match, let alone win it. Things appear to definitely be looking up fitness wise

Well Jodie had to play doubles as well

SF:- Jodie Anna Burrage (GBR) / Eden Silva (GBR) CR630 (421+209) LOST TO Jada Myii Hart (USA) / Dalayna Hewitt (USA) CR1140 (594+546) 3-6 3-6

Edit:-  Following up on earlier discussions, Coric is showing 15 points for this tournament, which is QF points, i.e. one round less than the match they lost.

Was not expecting Katie to win that second match. Good chance for an all British final here.

Good start to the hard court summer for both so far.
