3. Heather Watson - for each of the 4th round of Wimbledon and her first grand slam second week.
4. Cam Norrie - reached Wimbledon SF for his first slam semifinal and shattering his seeding expectation, beating Andujar, Munar, Johnson, Paul and Goffin (in 5 epic sets) and taking Djokovic to 4 sets
5. Neal Skupski - Wimbledon Mixed Doubles title winner for the 2nd year in a row.
6. Alfie Hewett - Reached Wimbledon Men's Singles Final in the Wheelchair event; his first Wimbledon singles final coming from 5-1 down and a set, in 3 hours 20.
7. Toby Samuel - Aged 19, Won the Roehampton M25 having received a WC for Entry. His first ITF tournament win in singles
8. Lloyd Glasspool - Partnering Harri Heliövaara, he followed Wimbledon doubles L16 with the ATP Hamburg 500 doubles title, beating 3 seeds along the way with combined rankings of 11, 26 & 44 respectively plus RU in ATP Umag 250.
9. Kyle Edmund - just for being fit enough to compete. So great to see him back on court.
10. Maia Lumsden - for a cracking comeback from long Covid and battling so well against a top 200 player - runner-up in Notts 25k
11. Arthur Féry - for winning the Notts 25k, even though unseeded and at college and still age 20, and playing excellent grass court tennis
12. Billy Harris - for winning his first ever Challenger title in the doubles at Winnipeg.

I remembered I had considered nominating Ken Skupski and Dom Inglot in recognising their careers, but forgot. So let this be the recognition comment marking their retirements !
I thought I was going to vote Cam but when i saw the list I went for Katie Boulter purely because she has had such a torrid time of it for the last 3 years and beating last years R/U was a result I really didn't expect
