Definitely between Ryan and Jodie for me, the two players who for me have really had 'wow!' months. On the back of these months both have moved to big CHs in the top 150 and into the top 100 for total points this year.
Of course other very good months. But these two stand apart for me from the continuing doubles wins and first challenger titles chalked up by Julian & Henry. And also from the other singles players in that their fine displays were more expected and / or more precedented.
Ultimately Ryan has just edged it for me with 6 top 100 wins in the month against Jodie's 4 and just a touch more of that 'wow' with where he has come from.
6 early votes in so far - Ive gone for Julian and Henry - I felt they stood out as tournie winners, made that career breakthrough and I always feel doubles get under represented in these things !
Would be great to get as many votes as possible folks - please support the great month your British players had by voting for the player of the month in this poll
In isolation, it would have been Mr Peniston, but I think he will get another chance. I don't think Ms Burrage will ever top this week, so i have to go for her.
