Just Joe left now, bad day in the men's doubles camp.

When I said a Brit would win this, I did, of course, assume we would just have 1 left at the QF stage!

I note that Jonny Marray and Freddy Nielsen are playing in the invitational doubles tomorrow

Good times, good times.....

 those were great times.

what was so disappointing at the time was after taking the title, they then played the O2, reaching the

semis, and I dont think played together again,

as Freddie focused on a singles career that never seemed to anywhere of substance. I always wonder what else could have been if theyd played more together .

Yes. I remember them being interviewed just after they won the title and Freddie was really lukewarm about playing with Jonny again, which seemed a bit strange at the time and a bit of a mistake seemingly. Nice to see them playing again now.

I'm glad they eventually managed to put this little altercation behind them!

That Hawk-Eye decision did look very dodgy or else my picture is.

And that could have been very important, given breaking then would have put Joe & Rajeev 6-3 *6-5 up. Instead it went one set all after a TB. Though it wasn't clever to have lost 14 of the last 16 points in the set after the incident.

Fantastic result for Joe and Raj. Spotted Tom Corrie sitting next to Louis K. Is Tom still involved in coaching? Thought hed left Bath to concentrate on the development of a tennis algorithm at TennisViz?

I agree.  It looked out to me.  14 of the last 16, was it?  I wasn't counting.  wink

I have been trying for years to convince my son that a dodgy line call affects the outcome of one point: a bad attitude can cost tens of points. It is nice of the boys to provide this handy illustration for me.

fantastic for Joe and Rajeev into the semis.

But not even played on Centre Court yet.
Joe is world doubles no1 and homegrown.

They should have had an evening slot on Centre by now imo.
