Maia rather faded away after a good start - which is a shame as she seemed to let Von Deichmann's tricksy game upset her rhythm.

Beth back on track though after some great fighting at 4-5* to break back, saving a SP.

Grey *5-5 Gadecki
Neilson Gatenby 2-6 *1-3 Loeb
Lumsden 3-6 *0-0 Von Deichmann

Yeah Maia has gone of the edge of a cliff a bit here after a good start.

3-6 *1-3

Talia loses 6-2 6-2. Gave it a good go.

I think Beth is playing pretty well. Could have done with a slightly kinder draw, Gadecki a decent talent. 5-7 1-0*

Much like the discussion around Harriet in the other thread, I don't think that match up was one that Maia enjoyed at all. Never looked comfortable with Von Deichmann's style.

Beth also struggling to stay in her match after dropping a promising position on Gadecki's serve.

Beth seems to be fighting back though and just broke to stay in. I thought Eden would be our winner today, so hope she can turn this around but doesnt look promising...

Beth being helped a lot by Gadecki's nerves when serving out - like the first set she was broken when serving for it...and then again to give Beth the set, with some great returning.

Eden not in such a good place.

I dont know Harrison at all but shes serving like John Isner out there. Silva only getting about 40% of first serve returns IN- let alone winning points on it
