Katie creating lots of opportunities, but shanking all the break points :P
That said, she is using the width of the court well in rallies, and the forehand is much more under control than in her last match. Just needs to get control of the big points.

Yes! A big wobble from 5-2* including a double fault that brings it level, but gets a match point then goes for it, big and deep into the corners and gets the reward.

Delighted for her. Another good win.

It's been a great week for the top GB girls all round. Plenty of good wins, and the losses have been mainly to top players. Katie B has really stepped up, Katie S looked good today while beatin Sloane. Jodie has been excellent and Harriet was playing well. Just need Heather to take advantage of that LL spot and produce some good performances.

Fab win from Katie. Just to note, we have now surpassed last year's top 100 wins haul, before Eastbourne R32 has even begun:

Last year on grass, top 100 wins:

Heather = 3
Katie B = 3
Emma = 2

Total = 8

This year on grass, top 100 wins:

Katie B = 3
Harriet = 3
Katie S = 1
Jodie = 2
Lily = 1

Total = 10

I can't remember a time when top 100 wins were so widely spread between players (and this without two of our top players having taken a win yet).
