Great work Harriet! I only saw part of the 2nd set yesterday, but some blistering rallies. Hardest I've ever seen her hitting the ball.

Is this the most successful grasscourt season ever? Can't remember so many players winning. Harriet, Katie B, Katie S, Jodie, Sonay and several others with notable but maybe not quite as notable runs. Very encouraging! Then obviously the heroics of Ryan on the men's side, with some great stuff from Andy / Paul / Liam / Jay too.

That hold from Katie B for 5-5 was GUTSY! Especially the point at 30-30. Really encouraging stuff regardless of the result.

It was a very tough draw and she deserved something a bit easier after beating the no 4.

I do have a soft spot though for Petra given all shes been through.

I'm sure it is not a coincidence, but the change of coach and surface has worked miracles and she is starting to realise her potential. She also seems much more mature in her inteviews. I wasn't concentrating properly as I am watching Harriet at the same time. Did they say Jodie's coach was Craig Beale ? (Definitely Craig ....)

Jodie finding it tough going against Haddad Maia, unfortunately. Fairly relentless hitting from the Brazilian and few more errors creeping into Jodie's game.
