 Oh dear, poor Sloane.

No strapping on the return. I mean spinning the ball into court is enough against Sloane at the moment who is ballooning balls everywhere.

I like Katie but she is such a fragile player when it comes to injuries that you never dare get ahead of yourself and really hope.

Great performance from Katie, lots of errors from Sloane but Katie hit some cracking servers and forehands. Trevisan or Andreescu next, Id fancy her to take Martina but maybe not bianca.

Sloane not at her best but a cracking win for Katie. Please let's hope there's no injury niggles to stop her having a good go in round two.

Very good statement wins by Katie after her Wimbledon MD WC award.

That win almost covers her Wimbledon points.

I feel for Sloane, I'm a big fan. Kinda sad she couldn't get that consistency to stay at the top. Love the Swan....I doubt her health will keep her playing at this level though. I hope i'm wrong
