6-3 6-2 Great result for Jodie. Again was 40 love up at the end of the first set but got pegged back and had a break point against her. Managed to turn it round though. Long may this continue!!

I think she'll be a little disappointed not to take the chances she created in the third, but overall can and should be extremely proud of what she's done on court this week. Excellent stuff.

Yes, I really didn't care whether she won today - she's done way better than her profile would have given most other people to expect - she has such a good arm, such qualities that stand her apart - it's obvious that she needs to work on her legs, the stability of the lower half, and the balance in percentages between which shots to go for and when. But that's all part of process, it's not an issue.
