I thought Maia was heading for a simple two set defeat.

She had aready lost the first set 3-6 but she has now managed to reach the tiebreak but is down 1-3

Pity but in the end looks a pretty decent competitive effort against the 6th seed.

The kind of ranking level at least that Maia will want to get back to but it will no doubt take time.
