The WTA site doesn't always give a player's age and it doesn't say if the player has a WC. Every time they redesign the WTA site they make it even worse than it was before. You could almost believe it was a deliberate policy to discourage interest and support from the general public.
Regarding points....if I understand it properly women need 3 counters, which can all be one point, to get a wta ranking. So the wildcards into this level of tournament can lose (most likely), get a point and then need only 2 more counters? If you need three counters for a ranking you should need to win 3 matches in three separate events (or get the 10 points or whatever that gets you there in one go). I can see that noone is likely to get a wta ranking based on three losing wc awards but the point will help if only two more events then needed.
Eden getting frustrated; she's actually doing well - she is the one moving the ball around, making angles - but often she isn't able to execute the finish. But it's not good mentally to be huffing and puffing when you're going toe to toe with someone 200 places above you.
And she loses her serve having had game points, 5-7.

Beth misses a match point by murdering a putaway off a dreadful drop shot from her opponent. But takes her next one. Great job and lovely crowd support.
